The Giulias are all set

A short update on our preparation.....

Both 'Girls' from Holland - a Giulia is female of course - have had their annual pampering and are - loaded with new fluids and a check-up of everything under their skin - technically ready for the trip!

So now we first need some thorough testing during an overnight rally for Regina & Klaas Jan and a SCARB treasure hunt for Jennie & René.

And than just after a last clean-up we will be fully set to cross the North Sea from Rotterdam to Hull during the night of June 9/10.

Unfortunately our dear friend Peter will not be able to join us there, but of course he will travel with us in our minds.

And Brian - in his Italian Tricolore Giulia - will lead us the way through the beautiful landscape and the 'chocolate box' villages of Yorkshire.

We are all eagerly looking forward to meet up in our base camp to be set up in the 'Plum & Partridge' Inn in the tiny village of Husthwaite!
